I had to greedily clutch the candy in my hands, because Big T kept saying "Thank you" and putting the candy back in the basket. We didn't get it across to him until much later in the evening that he should say "Thank you" and put the candy in his bag for me, ahem, I mean, him, to eat later.

How funny that T put almost more candy back than he received. I did wonder once why his bag wasn't filling up, but honestly wondered if Mom and Dad were already raiding the bag - of course, to protect it. He looked so much more excited when he realized he was keeping the candy. I guess trick or treat to him meant 'you get the treat and then get tricked when they take back the candy.
