Naptime

Children are both awake, standing by their doors, each in their respective rooms.

T says, "Where are you?"

M says, "I'm right here. I'm right here. Wheeeee!"

She is obviously so excited that they are in this together. Defying the man together. Staying awake together.

T says, "Where are you?"

M says, "I'm right here! Heeheeheeheehee!" Delighted squeals.

From T's room: exasperated sigh. "Not you. I know where YOU are. I'm just not talking to you. Where are you MOMMY?"

The younger sister. Always out of the loop.

Trust me - M can take care of herself.
