For Easter, I forced my family to eat "Jellied Gazpacho" from the New Joys of Jell-o cookbook. It may be the last meal I ever host.
I thrifted that cookbook and I've been dying to try one of the non-dessert recipes. At least I picked one without meat to start out with. Bwahahahaha.

Oh my! I'm sorry to say that does not appeal to me. Are you having leftovers for lunch this week?
It doesn't really appeal to me either. I just always wondered what one of those Jell-o recipes would taste like! I love the Lileks website:

Frank liked the jellied gazpacho and I thought that surprisingly, it wasn't bad.
We mostly ate our leftovers, but there is a bit of candy still to take care of. I will help with that. :)
No doubt!!!
I didn't think the gazpacho was bad - I finished what I took home and enjoyed it with those crackers I'd gotten at Harry & David. I can see it now as a first course soup before a summer meal. Have to admit thought it is not at the top of my list. Was fun to try - brought back memories of all those recipes from the past. Who ate those??? Easter was fun! Will come back.
